1. Booking and Reservation:
a. All bookings are subject to availability.
b. Reservations must be made in advance, and full payment in advance is required to secure the booking.
c. Changes to reservations are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
a. Cancellations made by the client are subject to the following refund policy: i. More than 48 hours before departure: Full refund. ii. 24-48 hours before departure: 50% refund of the total amount. iii. Less than 24 hours before departure: No Refund.
b. Cancellations due to weather or unforeseen circumstances by Mission Helicopters will be refunded in full or rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.
3. Weather and Safety:
a. Flight operations are subject to weather conditions. Mission Helicopters reserves the right to cancel or reschedule flights for safety reasons.
b. Clients must adhere to safety instructions provided by the pilot and Mission Helicopters during the flight.
c. Once a flight has commenced, the client will be charged for the quoted flight time to the destination, or the flight time to the alternate if the helicopter is required to divert due weather or other safety concerns. In the event that the flight is diverted, the balance will be refunded if the flight time is less than originally quoted. If alternative transport arrangements are required Mission Helicopter will assist with arrangements where possible. Any additional costs for transport/accommodation, shall be charged to the client. 4. Baggage and Weight Limitations:
a. Clients must adhere to specified weight limitations for safety and operational reasons.
b. Mission Helicopters is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings during the flight.
c. If the client and or client’s baggage is heavier than originally declared, and alternative transport is required for baggage, all associated costs will be passed onto the client.
5. Conduct During Flight:
a. Clients must comply with all instructions provided by the pilot during the flight.
b. Any disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in the termination of the flight with no refund. Any damage incurred by the client must be paid for in full.
6. Delays and Itinerary Changes:
a. Mission Helicopters reserves the right to delay, alter or cancel flight schedules and itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather, air traffic control restrictions, and technical issues. Any additional costs incurred because of these changes will be passed onto the client. If the pilot is required to overnight, additional costs will apply.
7. Insurance:
a. Clients are strongly advised to have their own travel insurance to cover any unforeseen events, cancellations, or medical emergencies. b. Kestrel Aviation as the carrier for Mission Helicopters carries insurance for all operations undertaken including passenger liability insurance, as required by Australian Aviation Law.
8. Liability:
a. Mission Helicopters is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the flight, except in cases of proven negligence on the part of Mission Helicopters.
9. Governing Law:
a. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Commonwealth of Australia and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Commonwealth of Australia.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions:
a. Mission Helicopters reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, and such changes will be effective upon posting on the company's website.
11. Credit card fees:
a. credit card fee of 2.5% will be added to any payment made by credit card.
By confirming a booking with Mission Helicopters, the client acknowledges and agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
Note: Destination is the originally quoted point of disembarkation, Alternate, is the Weather/ATC or other factors beyond the capability of Mission Helicopters to control, point of disembarkation.
